Welcome to our Daylily Website.

The purpose of our organization is to promote the study and appreciation of daylilies in the Albuquerque area.  We accomplish this through education and cooperation with the American Hemerocallis Society. You may be surprised to learn that daylilies aren't just orange and yellow any more; they come in all colors except pure white and blue.  Check out our favorite daylilies page to see some of the colors and shapes available.  Our web site is designed to let you learn more about us and what we do.

We hold seven monthly meetings from March through August plus October in member homes and gardens.  To encourage our members to grow more daylilies we hold a raffle at each meeting and in August we have an elite daylily auction.

In the Albuquerque area you can see daylilies in bloom in public gardens from May through September.  Visit the Kathryn Neely Memorial Garden at the Albuquerque Garden Center in Los Altos Park, University House at UNM, the Rio Grande Botanic Gardens, the Wyoming Regional Library, or El Rancho de Las Golondrinas.  Our club helped establish the daylily beds in each of these gardens and we continue to care for the daylilies in several of them.

Consider daylilies for use in your garden.  They are "moderate" water users and nearly pest free.
